Gazbo,don't get upset about being called a jock,i'm one too and proud of it.They're all quite rightly jealous.I'm a tree surgeon in Kent,every time i fire up a saw,the local F.E.B. busy body comes along trying hard to pretend they look intelligent.Upon hearing my accent,90% of them then tell me that their grandfathers were tree surgeons from Glasgow,and do i not miss "up there".I then embark upon a time honoured quote "Well sir/madam,if the Scots,Welsh,French and Irish,englands 4 closest neighbours ,all hate the english,you surely can,t disagree that 4 entire nations can be wrong ?" They then refrain from calling me "Jock" and toddle off.
The Jock likes the English, he has friends there. You take care or he'll get upset again.
Just like to say, I'm delighted with the outcome. BMW paid my bill for five weeks car hire, covered the cost of non transferable items on bike, cost of transferring insurance and two months finance. A grand total of around £1300. Oh, and I also got a brand spanking new Triple Black. Great service.
. Its nice to know that there is still some good customer service out there.
So many people knock BMW but when it come to problems like this they come up trumps. I can't imagine Triumph being so generous or the main Jap dealers. Well done that man
