Yep thats the one. Got it a lot cheaper than that though. . Got fed up with wearing head cams and charging batteries etc

Be a good chap and pop a link up as others may want to do the same as you

:beerjug:

I got it from eBay. £95 delivered in three days. (From China apparently) The link for the one I bought is no longer available to buy but if you search for dv688 there’s loads on there.

Just fitted one of those sort of systems to a customers bike,
Twin cameras front and rear ,all the toys, gps box, handle bar control.
Took about an hour to install nicely.
Not my cuppa Darjeeling but each to their own.:thumby:

Mixed reviews. As always you get what you pay for.

£100 on amazon.couk

You really need to spend at least £250

How do you get around the canbus system on the gs? Do you connect direct to battery?

Comes with two power connection. USB and battery direct. I put a bosh plug on the end of the battery direct one and plugged into the dash plug. Works with ignition. Powers off when plug powers down. Works fine

Cheapest now seems to be £128 or £159 with the GPS device and an SD card

But why ?
A mate used to have about four bloody go-pros mounted every which way on his GS and was forever faffing, and turning stuff on and off.

Never seen a second of the hundreds of hours of footage.

And when people do actually bother/have the time to edit it all, they seem to match it to an annoying soundtrack and paste it on YouTube to bore everybody else.

Each to their own,as Mikey said but I really can’t see the point.....

Evidence.

looks great, how did you mount the screen?

Comes with a go pro style handle bar mount which is located behind the screen so is mostly hidden.

I have noticed though that the footage is only viewable on a windows PC and not IOS format. It turns but the unit formats the SD card in Windows’s only format. FYI. Not reallly a problem but had to dig out an old laptop as MacBook wouldn’t recognise the SD card
