Can I just confirm these things are waterproof?

Also anyone with one of these phones (Mines still an old Sony Ericson that is well past an upgrade). Can you recomend one that uses memory map and allows the import of maps. Lastly whats the battery life like on these phones?

Okay just looked at this phone which is in one of the phones listed at the start.

Sony Ericsson Xperia

Anyone know if it does Memory map. Or some other mapping software.

Hi,
These cases are waterproof. Not so sure about memory maps but I have seen some mention of them for the Android OS.

Surprised to hear the comments about Experia Arcs as some guys I know use them for business and seem happy with them.

Hi Jasext,

Android case for the HD2 with RAM ball fitting is £33 + £2.95p&p. The case still unclips from the mounting and rotates.

I haven't yet listed this option for the Android cases on RiderMount.com. If you would like one, you can pay [email protected] via paypal or give me a call on 01473 823351 and pay over the phone.

Hi,
Have just ordered a case for my 4S, can you attach the phone to a charging lead, and a jack plug lead whilst it is held in the case?
Cheers :beerjug:

Hi,
You'll probably know this by now but yes on the iphone bikeconsole there is a jack socket for headphones and a charge cable entry.

Sorry to be a pain again, but how do you connect the charging wire and keep it waterproof ?
Do you have any pics of that ?
Thanks

The iphone cable on the website says:
"iphone/ipod power cable with DIN plug (not suitable for bikeconsole product)"

I assume the plug is bigger than the standard Apple plug ?

Thanks.

Hi all,
In answer to the questions -

The iphone cases have a small cable inlet at the bottom where the clip is. This is very small diameter and will only suit the apple charge cable. The headphone jack is at the top and has a sealing plug.

The android cases - some have charge cable access. These are the phones with the charge port in the bottom edge such as the Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Desire HD. The Android cases do not have a headphone jack socket. This is because the headphone jack position varies with different phones.

Regards, Colin
