As for the legality, can't see why not...if the bike's lights are all visible and there is no hazard being caused, (Ie the load is properly secured) then I wouldn't have thought there's be any problem...though I'm sure there's some rule about marking an overhang of some size or above in some way.

100WW...do a search for Ricardo's ride reports in the relevant section of Advrider...awesome stuff..the man's a nutter :D
 
forgot to mention,

the bike without wheels is 107cm wide, which is exactly the same width as a pair of ADV alu panniers.




Oi Retroman, did you ever get yours on the back for the trentham gardens event????
