Hi, I have a Biketek jacket that has developed an intermittent cable fault. The fault is in the cable between the controller connector and where it then connects to the various heating cables inside the jacket.
I'm trying to locate another connector, I've looked at RS, Mouser etc but I've not had any luck so far.
I'm going to describe it as a 5 pin male plastic din inline connector, that is secured with a screw collar...

Does anyone know the correct name or where I can source one?
Thanks for reading,

John

That's a pretty unique type of socket with the security ring.

Biketek's website appears to be down, whilst Riderz (who sold the stuff) says the kit is no longer available, but I found these bods who seem to do some spares:

But apparently not the bit you want.

That being said, a plug is a plug.... any five pin (assuming all five pins are in use) male / female plug will do.

Just what I was thinking, easier to change the whole plug....Thanks for the advice!
