BikeVis Bullets

Update

Got these fitted today! The technical haddock strikes again. :D

I have attached them to the end of the spoilers on top of the BMW hand guards. There's not quite enough flat space for the whole of sticky pad to contact but hopefully the nice tight grip on the wire (drilled the minimum possible sized hole) will help hold them in place. This does give the maximum possible lit width to the bike which was the point of fitting them in the first place.

Wired to the sat nav/aux socket on top of the battery using the necessary plug and leads bought from BMW dealer (£12 and some pennies) - thanks to rce for A1 advice - if anyone's interested the wires match as follows:-

Bikeviz - - Sat nav plug
Striped wire (+ve) - - Wire 03
Plain wire (-ve) - - Wire 01
Do not use wire 02 on the sat nav plug.

Simply soldered the joins and heat shrink wrapped! The LEDs come on with ignition and stay on for nearly a minute after ignition is turned off.

The most difficult bit of the whole job was removing the front trim - I may need to invest in a powered screw driver and some torx bits - it took ages using torx keys!

Anyone got any pics or examples of fitting locations on a GS12?
Thanks

old photo from in the dark lol. But they are great lights! Fitted under hand guards and under the beak at the front. Ok so I have had one fail, but emailed bikevis and they sent me out another pair the next day :)
