Think the rear light is similar to the G650GS.

Here is ours mounted on the rear bodywork either side of tail light. We got the unit to allow them to work as tail lights / brake lights.

Work very well, especially with the dodgy bulb contacts meaning you can easily lose the tail light. Much safer having these as a reliable backup / extra visibility.
