I'll be out doing a recce for a novice route on Sunday.

Leaving Countess Services, near Amesbury, at 10am - just bimbling about looking at the easier tracks.

Oh bugger, I would have liked to come but don't finish work untill 7am and then have to stay up to watch kids rugby in Tiverton.

Whats it like over there at the moment, very wet and muddy?

YES! Was all set for the "wombat hunt" v2 on the KTM but there's no more places now. Would love to bring the GS down for a bimble! :thumb2

Sounds interesting...

Will come and try out my brand new TKC80s if I can get a day pass.

Will try not to repeat the sliding incident of January 3rd!!! Should be less ice about now :)

No, it seldom is.
The best thing about the plain is it only needs a couple of dry days to soak up any excess water in all but the muddiest of holes, and they can mostly be ridden around.
That's why I use it so much (along with Thetford) for novice and big trailie runs. Perfect.:thumb2

I would join you Clive but I am runing a Hant's road ride on Sunday.

Im down there the following week with 'the girlies' .... I dont suppose i could blag details of one or two easy ones that they would enjoy......:augie

If I can also get a day pass from SWMBO then Ill be there as long as it is only novice stuff, Ill let ya know:thumb2

Give or take - any of the thick white lines you can see from this distance are fair game ;)

Clive Ive been given the royal seal of approval from SWMBO so Ill see you at Countess Services about 10am unless you fancy the little chef for a brekkie first

I'm hoping to be there earlier than 10am for an Early Starter :thumb2

What time do you want to be there, the last time I stopped there they brought brekkie out quite quickly but I guess its half term so there will be more traffic than normal for a sunday I guess.

Bottom left of the pic. is that Fighledean, or whatever the spelling is?

Ah, the map you have is interactive!

Breakfast

I will plan to be there about 9:15 ish and am looking forward to a tosser size little chef breakfast
