On a recent purchase the carbs look awful .
Is there any where i can send my carbs to have them cleaned and sorted at the business end ?

Steve Scriminger (of SED) did mine after they were supposedly done by someone else!!

I spotted bead media on the butterfly - not good!! sent them to Steve who stripped, refurbed as required,Ultrasonic clean, rebuild and the exterior was more likely run over again with the vapour blaster.
old parts returned with the nice carbs..

So , On Digga,s recomendation alone , I have "Pulled the Trigger " and the Carbs are currently on
Scrimangers Workbench , They were in Crummy condition , so i cant loose . Lets see if i am impressed though.

When I had my twin Bings ultra-sonically cleaned a few months ago, I paid £100. Unlike what is shown on YouTube where the entire carb is dunked in the solution, the correct and best way is for the carbs to be dismantled first. That way any dirt can be 'flushed' away, wear and O-rings checked and of course the diaphragms examined.

well there Back , Everything that could be repalced has been . Total Bill £180 Delivered to N.Ireland.
So just going to slip them on , and hopefully fire her up for the First time.
I have never had a BMW with a set of 32 Bings before , wonder how it will Feel.
