While stripping and cleaning my carbs,I seem to have lost one of the needle jets:blast, the one I have left is a 2.66,however I have a spare set of carbs from my R80,the needle jets in these are 2.68, would these be suitable, the bike is a standard R100RT with 40mm carbs,
I've also noticed that the diode board has a sticker on it with the name "Harman" on it,there is also an alloy box under the tank with the same name on it any ideas ?As it's an ex police bike would it also have a higher output alternator:nenau

The bike will run, and if a plug chop shows something amiss or it seems wrong you can usually move the needle position to fix it - they were never tuned that well from the factory anyway, and by now you will probably hhave a few replacement parts anyway.

Try a search on this forum, Rob Farmer posted the results of his experimentation with a O2 meter, which might give you something to aim for long term.
