Can somebody tell me the size of the two little screws that go into the vacuum takeoff on the bottom of the Bing 32CV please? :thumb2

I am not sure what they are, standard M3 screws are to small. M4 screws to large, it's like they are M3.5 if that's possible!
Know nothing about these devices, but the screws holding the sockets and switches in your house are M3.5. Take one out and try it.

Chris Shaw www.shawstainless.co.uksells them in Stainless Steel, along with lots of other lovely Stainless fasteners and bits for Airheads. Mine arrived this week :)

:blast(Edited to record that I didn't read the question properly, and wrongly posted about the screws that hold the 'Vaccuum chamber' on to the top of the carb. D'oh!):blast

Not certain about this but I think that the thread is a lot finer than the standard M3.5, I only mention that in case you bugger the thread up while trying to make it fit. Or in other words, be gentle with it.

If you are stuck the rubber caps from brake bleed nipples will seal things temporally , till you can obtain the screws.

But they seem to vanish eventually.
