A couple of years ago I e-mailed some guy in the US a few dollars to obtain some BitTorrent software - I didn't have much success with it.
I tried again yesterday and have successfully downloaded an album and am in mid-stream of downloading a TV programme.
Can someone explain in words of one or fewer syllables how BitTorrents works?
