Just fitted the Bitubo shocks and Braking Wave Disks to the GSA. Took her on the track at Rockingham on Sunday and the transformation is wonderful.
Still a lot of playing around required on the settings but she is now firm and very controllable. Now the only front end wobble is when the front wheel is just on/off the road under acceleration. No sag or bucking under acceleration and braking is now almost flat.
The previous BMW front disks had warped so it is difficult to tell if the wave's make any difference but I felt a lot more confident.
Mind you the Pirelli Diablo Corsa's may also have made a difference to my confidence.....
Only problem with the shocks is that the ride height has now gone back up. When I put the cast wheels on it was back down to a reasonable angle on the side stand now back to the normal "will it fall or won't it fall"
The other problem is getting Bitubo's in the UK, ended up having to buy in Canada with them being shipped direct from Italy. The wave disks are the same difficulty. Not sold for BMWs in the UK and cheapest method is getting them from Germany as Galfer will only supply out of the US.
Only got the bars and fixing the fuel and I will be happy for a few more days. Now once again the conundrum do I ride the GSA or the 600RR... aaaargh
