I'm thinking of going for the black Akra on my next bike, so am interested to hear from anyone that's had one for a while to see how easily they scratch.

I ordered one for my last bike, but it was already scratched in the box, so I sent it back, as I wasn't confident it would look good after a few miles.

I've had the titanium Akra on a few bikes, and they don't scratch easily, and are easy to clean/ polish.

Any advice appreciated.:thumb

I bought the Yoshimura in black, very pleased with look, sound and quality.

I'd rather have the Akra silencer, as I'm getting the Akra titanium headers. It's the OCD in me!:D

I bought one second hand from a forum member who did not protect it very well in box, it arrived scratched & dented, which was irritating.

I kept it & it's much the same condition after 5,000 ish miles. They can be re-sleeved, but can't see the point

It's my view they are just as resilient to damage as polished ones, but scratches just show up more

The yoshi is IMO a nicer bit of kit than the Akro and of course considerably cheaper.

fits straight on to the Akro headers looks and sounds stunning.

Road craft rider has one on his TB he may post pictures

The trouble with the Yoshi, and the Termi is the hideous stickers/ logos on them. Not exactly subtle are they!

The Arrow looks good, but isn't that much cheaper than the Akra.
