First of all welcome to the site.
Secondly, this is not like the "Club"
We have no reverence for anyone
You WILL get the piss taken out of you [we all do]
Don't EVER ask what oil to use [without doing a thorough search first]
Thirdly, don't worry about it, Black engined bikes go faster
There are lots of abnormalities amongst most of the oilhead models, and the airheads.
If you want absolute sticklers for the rules and protocol Join the "Club" BUT you can't ask anything till you pay up and join
unlike this site.I think we have close to 7000 contributors now
compared to "Clubs" 470 or so.So pull your neck in, give as good as you get and you will enjoy yourself in here..
Finally Get yourself along to one of your local "meets" or maybe Lumb farm.
I've had a great time at every meet I've attended

I understand how you guys are now, and maybe i took it all a little too seriously!
To be honest its the first time ive joined any bike forum, as this one seems to be very well setup and actually useful.

It's called 'Care in the Community' When the psychiatric hospitals closed all the patients had to go somewhere, so they ended up here. I'm like you though, totally normal. In fact I even have a certificate that was given to me by a nice doctor to prove it.
By the way, as part of my efforts to recycle as much as I can I've just spent the day on New Brighton beach, collecting all the used nodders. I've washed them all so if you are also into recycling I can send some to you f.o.c.
