I popped into Costco yesterday to buy a nice big chunk o beef and porky pig -got to take advantage of the discounts.
Menu.
Nibbles - crisps, nuts, cold meats, smoked fishies, olives various other bits and pickles.
Starter - TBC but thought home made soup
Main - Roast Beef, Roast Pork, trimmings, tatties, seasonal veg.
Sweets - cheesecake, apple tart n cream
Cheeseboard.
I can cater for veggies but would like to keep the meal straight forward - if that is ok with you guys.
As I will have a heap of bits to take up I will pinch mrs bhud's car
Taking her motor I thought I might get wine.
Thought 6 white?, 18 Red, 6 port? How does how does that sound?
Could also pick up beers, ciders, drammies.
Ronno you are getting breakfast - I can pick up any bits needed e.g eggs.
Basically the food and drink will be divided by the amount of folk there but initial estimate would be £15 - £20 per head is that ok?

Bhud's rather splendid menu has alarm bells ringing for me already. As a result, I have good news for the rest of the Looneys: I'll mostly be drinking whisky so one glass of wine and port will do me, thus leaving more for the rest to consume.
