Black Looneys Bunkhaus Weekend Info
Only a week to go so here is a bit of info to save trawling through the umpteen pages on the "official" thread.
The venue is this building which is about 10 miles north of Blairgowrie on the A93 Perth-Braemar road. The hall is situated on the left (west) of the road as you travel northwards (for those who dinnae hae GPS

)
I've to pick up the hall keys about 13:00 so I'd suggest arriving as soon as you like thereafter. It's
£10 per head for your bunk or campbed. We're catering for twenty: 18 in the 9 x double bunks and 2 on campbeds. Please pay this to me before I start drinkin'...
Sheets and duvets are provided by the hall but
bring yer ane pillows
Gerry Watts has put himself out for us too. He's going to ferry peeps to the Clay Pidgeon range nearby starting at 14:00 hrs so if you fancy a shoot please be ready for afore 2 p.m. at the hall. Gerry has pulled in a few of his mates to help out. The shoot is being put on for us by Gerry FOC but he suggests we put in
£5 a head to get his mates a pint. I think that's brilliant!
It might be that some dinnae fancy the Clays and would rather hae a run aroond the area on their bikes. Plenty good runs in this neck of the woods.
We should be back at the hall well afore the meal which Bhud is cooking for us. 19:00 for dinner but there'll be nibbles afore then. The meal should cost a maximum of
£15 per head. This is to be paid direct to Bhud.
The kitchen has a 6 ring/2 oven cooker and microwave.
It's a bring your ane drink type affair so make sure you've plenty bevvy wi' you. There's nae boozer or shop in walking distance of Blacklunans. Fridge and freezer also in the hall for Jaegermeister storage.
Whatton will cook our Full Scottish Breakfast on the Sunday which will consist of the best of stuff from Irvine's The Butcher in Blairgowrie. I'll pick all this up en route on the Saturday. I'll keep a' the receipts and it'll cost whatever I pay divided by how many hae the breakfast but I'd hope to ha'e a guid plateful on the table for a fiver or so.
If anybody want's coffee, I'd suggest a few folk bring a pint of milk wi' them as well as tea and coffee and sugar.
See yiz a' there
