Black or Silver?

I have just seen a picture of my brand new GS TE in white, it has a silver engine I thought they were now black. I am not bothered what colour it is but I am confused.
Can anyone out there enlighten me.

After doing a google image search for white 2017 GS's all seemed to have black engines with silver cylinder heads.

*Correction. I forgot to say TE and have now found an image with a silver engine Silver looks better anyhow.

What I'd like to know is why some engines still have the small weep hole and some don't ?

The weep hole ones are the earlier engines that have been exchanged for new ones because of flaky paint. They are repainted and reinstalled

2016 & 2016.5 bikes had black engines 2017 TE has silver engine 2017 Rallye and Exclusive have black engines (I think)
