Hi all I fancy blacking out my rockers covers. Thought I would get a good S/H pair and vapor blast/sandblast? then stove enamel or powder coat?
any advice please?
cheers Andy
GS1150-typo in title). (Fixed ~ Aidan)

Had a pair powder coated many moons ago with good results and have rattle canned some more since with VHT paint and were fine... We may have different takes on "fine" though...🤣

I’ve had black rocker covers for many years and my preference is for a crinkle finish paint. The first time, I used Harley engine paint but there are lots of them available these days.

Like Leadfarmer says though, make sure you prep them effectively by degreasing and abrading them so the paint keys effectively.

My covers are black but I had them ceracoated ( not sure on the spelling )
Excellent results
ah Cerakote!, thanks will look into that, cant decide between powder coat and stove enamelling, can get both done locally
though im guessing PC is cheaper, Il check and see if anyone near me can apply cerakote
