black screen

Can the standard screen on the 1150 gs be found in black? Anyone got a black screen on there's (post a pic for me). Have seen one or two tinted after market jobs but like the look and function of the original, but want it black. Any help please.

Go to a car "tunning" garage and have them make yours black, like they do on the stop lights on cars

I hate when they don't show a pic of the product they are selling! Anyone got one fitted? Thanks, might be just what i'm after.

Why not just unbolt yours, give the inside a rub with 1200 grit, get a rattle can of satin black (for example) and spray it yourself? Sorted.

this company has been selling normal and tinted screens for the 1150 GS & 1150GSA for a few months and by all accounts, all the buyers are happy with their purchases

The answer is - Yes.
I have one and it looks great (on a Mandarin) bike....

I can't remember where I got it, so can't help there, but I think it might have been from a mail-order company called M & P Accessories and it cost about $50.

Thanks taz, like the look of that. That was my plan to spray the silver dash panel black also. One last question before I order from slr, is ur's dark tint or solid black?

Spray the inside of the screen black. Did it to my old mra screen and it looked great

Nope, the ducati 907ie had a completely opaque one as standard from the factory

Dark tint this was from SLR quite cheap if i remember correctly just took a couple of weeks to arrive.

looking at your rugged yellow 1150 can you tell me what wing mirrors you have fitted please?

i think i read something somewhere about 1200KT or LE wingmirrors being adaptable / compatable

if anyone knows do please share your wisdom.....???
