Trying to get the final specification together for my new Adventurer, just about there, but I'd really like to see the difference on the bike between the standard and the big gas tank. Could anybody give me a link?
Also I'm getting a black bike and like the idea of blacked transmission, are there any pitfalls I can't think of?

Thanks in Advance!

Here is a piccie of mine with the big tank, black engine spec, sorry about the big arse in front of it!

Thanks..

Thanks for the pics, I dunno what I was expecting with the tank but it looks normal..
Does the tranny clean up OK? German friend of mine has a Harley with a blacked engine and it's a bitch to clean.

Ah, now I see where they put the extra volume! A bit w i d e but its OK, I was worried that it would too high.
Thanks MiGSel , I'll be touch

Yup, it's pretty wide. I've got the same tank (the pics are not mine). At first it's kinda "whow, what a tank" but you get used to it.
The Touratech big tank is not as wide and bigger, it "hangs" lower, almost touches the cylinders. But about 1000EUR painted. The Adv. big tank as an option is cheap, compared, and it's good for > 400km.
I don't regret the choice.
Greetings,
Michel
