I've just had a reply from Pam at the hall re the damaged radiator during our weekend. She totally accepts that the damage was accidental etc. After discussing it with other committee members, they've asked for a £40 donation to their funds. They hope that we use the hall again which was good to hear. I didn't argue about this so whether forty quid seems steep or cheap is irellevent now.

I'll send her a cheque next week.

I reckon that equates to two pounds each but am unsure how best to go about collecting this. Any suggestions?

I'm not looking to be sitting forty quid out of pocket so please don't say "you pay it and I'll then make a donation to Callums' Road/Save The Whale etc"...
 
could give you mine at the xmas doo, if you don,t mind waiting.

I've just had Dave (Bhud) on the phone. There's no arguing with him. He's taken care of the bill for this. :clap This is coming out of the monies he had left over for the meal which he was going to use for his Callum's Road fund.

Dave has kindly redirected the forty quid to pay Pam at the hall and keep us all in the committee's good books for future bookings.

I'll now stick a donation on Bhud's Just Giving per his link on his signature to balance this out a wee bit.

As I'm sure all the guys who met Dave/Bhud at oor wee Do will no doubt agree: Whit a guy :clap :clap

Thank you all for your generosity, I will be catching up with Ronno at the Christmas bash and hopefully sort something for next year.

Once again - cheers Bhud:clap, If you can wait untill the crimbo doo, I would be glad to make a donation to 'Calums road'. Seems the easiest way to do it
