Blank Keys cut

Howya lads,

I'm looking for a blank key cut just for panniers so I can leave my fob in my pocket. (I have history)

I tried autokey but no luck, is there anybody around who would cut one?

I just looked at the website of the UK firm I used, https://www.keysinthepost.com/ - banner at the top of the site: no shipping to Johnny Foreigners.

Can you get a blank from a BMW dealer and get it cut locally?

Hey I contacted Autokey about two weeks ago about a spare key and he quoted me 70 for a key no problem. It was for vario panniers for 2012 twin cam, not sure whether the model of the bike has anything to do with it. The chap I spoke to was called Darren

Give this chap a call. I've used him and had no problems though not sure he posts outside of the uk. Failing that your dealer should be able to get a key without the transponder in

I bought a couple of blanks from e bay and a local place cut them for about £10

We use them in work - all sorts of complicated stuff / i've used them for basic keys for myself.
Always found them good and also not expensive.

Just tried keyhole lock and safe ,they can do it if you have the blanks will then cost a tenner.

Cannot find the link as the seller no longer sells on E Bay but found the bill and two blanks cost £9.20 delivered and local key cutter charged £10, so two pannier keys for less than £20

I bought a dumb key on eBay last year. Was only around £15.

I only had to provide the code number that came with original key on day 1.

It’s really handy.

I have ordered a key on ebay from China, hopefully it's not made of chocolate or glass,once it arrives I'm planning to drop into the above recommendation to get it cut for a tenner so all toll it should be about 16euros. I'll keep ye posted how I get on
