How i did it...
i used a large syringe and some clear tubing...
filled the res up making sure all the banjo bolts nipple was torqued/tightened......
Had a cuppa
started to pump the brake lever to start filling the system ....many pumps later
kept topping up the res....
attached the clear tubing to the bleed nipple making sure there was an air tight seal.undone the bleed nipple pulled the syringe to start pulling the fluid through.......
kept topping up the res dont let it empty...or youll start again.
did this on both sides took about 1.5hrs each side...taking my time....
i tookt he tank off and bled the bleed pots on the top of the abs module..... pumped the brake to build pressure then drew the plunger back until the air was gone....... over time you feel the pressure build up.....
had a brew
i had a couple of days of servicing on .....so once i was happy that the majority of bubbles had gone i zip tied the brake handle to the hand grip and left it for about 12 hrs or so.... once it was released pumped the brake lever until it went nice and stiff...topped up res and went for a little plip....
if you have your brake lines off take the opportunity to clean your calipers etc......
if it feels really spongy check the levels and re bleed each nipple.. including the pots under the tanks.... one does front one does the rear ... my understanding..
no doubt someone else will be here to tell you a different method ut thats how ive always done it..
