Tried mine without the baffles in the week, to be honest I think I prefer the sound with them in.

Is that oak or plain pine?
Was the can from NN and i like em with wire wheels i may ask my dealer how much a set of wires are.

When I had a 1200RT I put a Staintune on + a BMW mechanic told me the bike would take about an hour of normal riding to adapt the air/fuel business to suit it... Is it the same with these shiny new w/c's? Will the popping reduce or disappear with some miles on it?

The popping gets more regular the more miles the bike does
Funny, I noticed that too. I wonder if it's something to do with carbon build up in the exhaust.
Anyway, baffles are back in and I think I prefer it that way.........
