Just thought I would share good news.
My 1150 was running rough, this was after I had fitted a Y etc.
couldn't find the fault linked to my changes so booked it in to Blue Bell in Crewe for Diagnostic.
They fitted it in on a Saturday and traced the fault, but not on diagnostic kit, to the 2 coils, the bike had been running on the 2 aux plugs. this was shown to me in the work shop.
not related to my Y fitting and saved me hours of trial and error
none in stock................. but that did not stop them "finding" a set on a New bike to get me back on the road.
this is the second time they have sorted me at short notice, again on a Saturday, the last being a fuel line recall where the problem appeared after being checked by another dealer and no blame on the other dealer either.
it is clear that Mike the mechanic (yeah like the group) is excellent and knows his stuff and is happy to explain where wanted.
the other good part is
Paul Newman (yeah sun dance) is a good service manager whom is making positive steps to get over OLD negative views of this dealer.
it is true that, as bikers, they do suffer a bit by being linked to a car dealer.
but if it is good main dealer service you want - talk to Mike and or Paul they will do their best to help.
but as for me I am happy thanks lads.
