I find the blue flags that now indicate where you have clicked and dragged a route to be quite intrusive - is it possible to get rid of them?

Thanks for that - I didn't realise that the flags would also be shown on the GPSR and would that also apply to a lowly Quest?

I'm not sure - I did have a Quest and I don't remember via points showing on it.

(Regarding Ebbo's post in the above thread I thought that auto recalculation would take you to the next map point and not your destination - 'though I could be wrong)

I think recalculation would take you to your next user waypoint - which may or may not be your final destination. Any intervening via points would be lost.

If I recall correctly the Quest wasn't affected. When I got my 2720, and stopped using my Quest, I was somewhat frustrated by this issue until some explained to me that it was a 'feature'.

The Quest went to it's new owner earlier in the week so I can't test this to see for sure.

TBH I just ignore it now, it's a little annoying, especially when looking at the distance countdown thinking it's the next turn when in fact it's a POnI. Would be great if Garmin did a firmware update that resolved this bug. I prefer to keep my off route recalculation turned on, call me strange, but I like it that way.
