Suffer from glare bouching back from the TT Perspex headlight protector on the 1200, well not me anymore :thumb

Made from the same material as the BTBR "eye lashes" :clap

Looks like different fixings.. but on my 1150 I just moved the protector closer to the head light and that solved the problem..

As it's now semi enclosed, does it attract dirt to the inside. Oh, I forgot, I doubt if you go out if it looks as if it's going to get dirty:D

Serious question though, it might make it get grubby quicker?

Don't Touratech make something exactly like this? :nenau

No seriously :duck:
I think they do :nod
Maybe you should check the catalogue :hide

Its only enclosed across the top and part way down each side. In truth I dont much like it either. But it serves a purpose and gave me something to think about in the garage other than polishing, plus its handmade.

I also have a Touratech steel headlight guard. But the only thing that will stop is a small child sat in a pram from breaking the headlight glass!

I was also quite suprised at the amount of reflected light from that as well to be honest

The BTBR cover is only held on with a 5m strip of double sided tape, with a 20mm strip of insulating tape on the back edge to stop any stray light shining backwards.

As you say Al, the joy is in making it yourself, :thumb instead of paying someones inflated prices.

Downside of owning new bikes, I get to tinker with my 18 year old:eek: Honda:D as it needs, err fettling once in a while. Which I quite like doing, as long as this doesn't involve breakdown maintenance.

do you ever ride your bike ? - or just spend hours of time fecking about with it and tons of money on it - just to go to Tesco's :mmmm

just wondered ? :dabone
