I believe the white ones are refered to as primer also......Mr MikeP will be along shortly to advise I am sure.
I have seen a "tart's handbag" adventure, but custom paintjob one.....looked good, but I am biase as I used to have the same

Nick is correct, it was a factory option 793 pacific blue/alpine white £170.21+£29.79vat
on the r1150gs

I think that option was for the standard GS not available on Adventure (they were either black or silver) until the final edition SE models came with a white tank.
