i currently use a scala rider fm bluetoothed to my garmin 660. i have had the scala for about 2 years now and i've always been dissapointed with the music sound quality. are the new bluetooth headsets (new scala models, starcom bluetooth) any better or do i need to go down the wired route ???

We've just got back from two weeks riding Northumbria with a new Interfone F4 twinset. Bike-to-bike is crystal clear and easily heard though earplugs & over my empty Remus.
The music from my Zumo 660 is slightly quieter but sound quality is spot on. I've read that MP3 volume issues can be as much down to the GPS as intercom and I think the latest Zumo firmware (v3.9) is supposed to address this. Not upgraded yet, I crash-tested v3.8a
Our first BT intercom and very impressed. Lisa was pi55ed off when the battery ran out 100 miles short of home (my fault, hadn't charged 'em for 5 days...)
