I keep going round in circles, maybe someone who has done it can offer advice.

I currently have a Baehr (autocom type unit) a 2610 Satnav and can use both bike to bike radio and MP3.

I have just changed my helmet to a flip up and will need to add a boom mike, so I got to thinking maybe I would use bluetooth and loose the wires, especially as I am tempted to get a Zumo and therefore could use it to link in my mobile and play mp3

However, it appears bluetooth is only mono.

I think I could get a bluetooth attachement to my baehr unit but would I be able to tie in my headset and mobile or would the mobile go via the zumo and hardwired to the baehr unit. but maybe that would be mono too.

I also though maybe I could get custom earplugs with monitors built in but would that work with a boom mike and my Baehr unit?

so round in circles I go...

Anyone got a solution?

I am at the moment doing pretty much the same.I have a old Autocom unit which i am upgrading(sort of:rolleyes:)
My wife and i getting the new! Nolan flip helmets.Nolan got the N-com system which fits onto the side of the Helmet. Now in April N-ccom is bringing out a new Bluetooth system which is supposed to be in stereo:D.
Also, something which i find is important is that the new system comes with a Bike charger.
I am planning to connect my phone to my Garmin,my helmet to my Garmin and than Rider to pillion with Bike to bike to come. How i dont know yet but i am sure there will be a way:D
