Hi Folks
This is my first posting.
Wanting to kit my GS with Zumo and head set for bike to bike zumo and ( phone on occasions) .
(A) Should I go for Starcom ,Autocom or Scala Rider Blutooth.

(B) I am wanting to put at Kenwood 3201 under the seat and not in a tank bag, so would need an ariel extesion (which is illegal) I know who wants a whip ariel on the panniers ( could I use a small ariel). Feed back would be appreciated.

All the web sites and price lists seem to be a minefield of expence.

I've used Autocom for a good while now. No problems at all. I think you'll get a pretty uniform view on this topic - go with Autocom.

I also use a TK3201 under the seat. I haven't sought to extend the ariel, and generally the range is fine for what I need. You should be able to run with the radio under the seat and not have any real issues. On the other hand, I'd be interested to know how much further the range actually is with a separate and upright ariel. Try a search, there is at least one thread which already covers the issue of PMR446 radios and separate ariels.
