Bluetooth Idea

With the advent of Bluetooth enabled GPS units, when will we see them being able to connect to each other. Being able to swap waypoints or routes by just pairing your gps to someone elses would be really usefull when on a trip :thumb

:clap Excellent concept! And while we are brainstorming, how's about adding close in BT bike to bike comms - my Maplin catalogue has BT adapters claiming 300m range with each other (class 1) and 80m with other class 2 devices

Already offered by the IntaRide Liberty...

not expensive either :)

From their website it would appear to connect via the hub to your PMR - I was thinking more hub to hub (or even pod to pod) direct - of course that might hurt PMR sales!

From what I've been told that's exactly what they do - pod to hub, but also pod to pod. I just checked on the website and it doesn't mention it but that's my understanding. I'll see if I can find out more...

just noticed these will not be available now till end of june
 
As far as i can remember from my conversations with them you should be able to get up to 30mts without the need for radios.
