Bluetooth map sharing from nav 4 to 5

Anyone got any way of getting the two units to pair and share routes?

My cousin has the 4 and I have the 5, could we get the units to pair?!!! No chance! And when we did get the request to pair showing on my screen, you click on "yes" to pair - nothing happens.

Maybe a bug as we tried everything including resetting both devices.

Aaaaggghhhhhh. I thought Garmin would have gripped this fromm 550 days!!!

I would say the Bluetooth on the Nav IV only connects with a phone and/or headset.

I stand corrected. It's clear though the Nav IV is not a rebadged 660, no mention of this in 660 manual.

Sharing with Bluetooth
1. Touch Where To? > Custom Routes.
2. Select the route you want to share.
3. Touch Share > Export > Bluetooth >
OK.
4. A list of nearby Bluetooth devices
appears. Select the other Navigator IV,
and touch OK.

I stand corrected. It's clear though the Nav IV is not a rebadged 660, no mention of this in 660 manual.

The hardware is a rebadged Zumo 660 but the firmware is different.
