I have had an Autocom for 10 years and it has given good service. I have lost touch with what is the recommended kit these days.

I have run some searches but I can't say I am any the wiser.

Is there a way to get a bluetooth mike / speaker set-up to bluetooth to an autocom unit (probabaly a new one) ..... without having to buy a dedicated bluetooth helmet ?

Thanks Rich. I had to ask for a wider view han the Autocom view, but I take on board the battery life issue as a major factor.

As with most technology you have to take on board the advantages with the disadvantages, and often the "upgrade" just exchanges "issues".

I'll keep my eye open for options as it would be good to have a reliable solution which got rid of helmet cables (I'm not so bothered about bluetoothing the GPS to the Autocom (or whatever))

My Autocom Eurocom has given 10 years reliable service (given the environment they operate in !). Any small problems we have had have been sorted out by Autocom quickly and efficeiently. We hadn't used it in anger for a while and were surprised when we fired it up again it worked perfectly. We were even more surprisd when we counted back and realised how old it was !

I think for the moment I'll stick to my trusty Eurocom, live with the cables and wait for the next EUREKA poduct ! :-)

Thanks for the advice
