Blutetooth dongle

Can't you pair your phone to the SatNav and do it that way?

You don't want to be taking expensive calls on holiday anyway .. they are only trying to sell you double glazing you don't need :D

The iphone is paired to the satnav fine...

The display on the zumo 660 shows an incoming call, and who it is, and gives you the choice to answer or ignore...

But if I need to answer I can hear the caller but the caller can't hear me ;)

I've spent enough getting the system about right, just need the phone to work.... It'd be handy on the euro trip if someone gets separated as well :)

Anyway... I'd know its you so I can ignore the incoming :D

I have a cable for a Kenwood receiver to an autocom if that helps? :nenau

You just need the Autocom->Garmin cable in that case. Can't remember the part number, but you don't need the bluetooth module, I don't have it any my phone works just fine :thumb

edit: depending on which Autocom it is it might be part number 2190 (I have an earlier Autocom so it was a different part)....

Does it have 2 or 3 pole inputs? Mine is a Pro 7 sport and I needed part 1300 as I only have 2 pole inputs....

Don't have a clue

I have got a thing that looks suspiciously like this already....

Got A, B, C on the top

Don't think its doing anything at the moment, but its the same colours :rob

OK, re: the 2 vs 3 pole thing - the cable you plug into the Autocom, does it have 3 black stripes on the plug or 2?

I had the wrong part originally for mine and had the same symptoms that you describe (could hear the person, but they couldn't hear me). Turns out I had the wrong part.

Give Sam at Chainspeed he will tell you exactly which part you need, top guy :thumb

Aux 2 is two stripes
Aux 3 is three stripes:confused:

I'll give him a call for advice :beerjug:

He sorted me out pretty quickly, and it all works perfectly now (and having the option of the phone is nice as you say) :thumb

I know the anwser to your question but quite fraankly it's Friday night and Sainsbury's had an offer on Smirnoff (£14 odd quid a litre) and diet coke (3 for £3) so I bought 10 litres and 30 bottles and frankly I'm working my way through my stock. :jager

If you want to give me a shout tomorrow (still got the number?) I'll run you throught the what bit goes where and why thing. :thumb

Thanks Roger... don't think I've got your number... at Mallory park all day tomorrow so will give you a shout tomorrow evening if that's ok? PM me your number :thumb

I've got a feeling I have part 2190, and a selection of 2.5-3.5 cables... its just a case of what to stick where I hope :D

Or phone him and pop down there, its a good ride out and Sam is mustard, took my autocom system apart and soldered it when it shorted out when he could have charged me for a new circuit board. Top man , highly recommended:thumb
