Nice looking bike, though IIRC you can't transfer the tax with the bike anymore. I think the way it works now is when you sell ot the DVLA would refund you (full months only) and the new owner would then need to tax it themselves, which unless you do it at the end of the month/beginning of the next you can both loose out. That is a racket. They could very easily refund to the day. Seller loses the balance of a month, buyer pays for a full month. Net result is HM Gov gets a full month of tax extra at the change of owner.

This is a lovely unmolested, unrestored original (apart from a Tony Archer Seat) bike.
I’ve owned it for nearly 5 years. It’s covered 22,600 miles from new.
The condition is superb, it’s starts instantly and runs like a Swiss watch.
The Road Rider tyres have done less than 500 miles, it handles and steers faultlessly.
These Para-lever bikes of this era were built without compromise and this one is no exception.
It will be sold with 12 months tax.
Hopefully the pictures will tell the story better than my words.

Lovely bike, built when BMW knew how to do it properly. Just as a heads up you can't sell it with the tax, as soon as you transfer it to the new owner they refund you the complete months left and the new owner has to retax it in their own right as theVED is not transferable.

Well folks this lovely old bike is back on the market!

I thought I’d sold it on July 1st, took a small cash deposit to hold it but the potential buyer seems to have disappeared into the wild blue yonder despite my many numerous and exhaustive attempts to contact him.
