BMW 2 in 1 gloves

I bought a pair at the Garmisch show 2014 and have ben using them since.
They are a great idea. In dry mode they are an excellent summer glove with plenty of ventilation. In wet mode they do what it says on the tin, they are a bit thick in wet mode and feel like you're wearing a full winter glove.
Highly recommend them. :thumb

I've got a pair, I paid a little less than full price for them and I love them. I orignially had the Held versions (The BMW ones are made by Held) but found the fingers a bit to long (I hate flappy fingers) so sold them and tried the BMW ones, hey presto, perfect fit.

They break in really quickly, they are super comfortable and have been totally waterproof with my hand in the "wet" chamber (fnaaaaar fnaaaaaar)

Not cheap, but this time, you are getting what you pay for. Excellent gloves.

I'm waiting on BMW to clear my warranty claim... leather on left thumb started to peel off so I sent them back. Was surprised that they do 2 years warranty as well! hopefully they will clear it and ai get new pair...

I shy'ed away from the BMW ones to buy a pair for £100 ... and purchased Alpinestar extra-fit t goretex . I hate them , what a mistake. They leak a little and are horrid. Pay the extra £30 and get the BMW ones.

+1 for these gloves. Very comfy, and the 2-in-1 concept works very well.

The stitching on my right forefinger started coming away after 15 months and the gloves were replaced under warranty, but with near daily use and 15k miles, they were otherwise in brilliant condition.

Best all-round gloves ever, by a significant margin.

Just over 1 yr old and both thumb ends have worn through on my 2in1 gloves, must be from wearing out on the indicator switches. Worn them almost every day. Took them into BMW Rainbow and they gave me a brand new pair in exchange, no questions asked. My 1yr old Streetguard 2014 suit wa salo leaking and they gave me a brand new replacement. Cant fault their customer service, just a shame the items failed so soon.

Just wondering.......presumably the two year warranty applies to my replacement gloves too? So, a new pair every 18 months will be just fine:)

Wear on left thumb was definitely from operating indicator switch! My right thumb was still fine. I bought them last year, but only used them intensively for month maybe! so wear is definitely premature. Thanks for sharing with me this info, hopefully will not need to use this as argument if they decide not to replace. I bought mine on eBay from BMW dealer in Cardiff.

Im wondering that too, but reckon the guarantee ends two years after original purchase. Might get a discount on the next pair if the 2 yrs are up? If theres any signs of wear before the 2yrs is up on mine then I'll be taking mine back again to at least register the issue. I wonder if BMW will be bringing out a new version with added thumb protection?

Where's the best place to get a set of these? I've had a quick look but £155 seems steep

Uk stock appears to be very low - my replacements had to come from BMW Germany. You might try ebay.de?

good news, my warranty claim got cleared successfully, bad is that they don't have them in stock in size 10, so they had to order them from fatherland...

you are right about that. At least another pair on the same original purchase can be achieved . That's like 3 pairs for a price of 1 in 2 years time! 😀👍That makes them the cheapest bmw goretex gloves ever! 😊

I have a pair. Great in a variety of temps in England. A little too warm for the hottest days but they are great quality and fit great.
