I bought this car for my father as a replacement for his older and higher mileage E Class Mercedes but he tells me he prefers the Merc so this is now for sale.

2014 (14 plate) BMW 528i Touring Auto. Near immaculate condition as you would expect from a low mileage vehicle. V5 present and in my father’s name.

This is the 245bhp version with the ZF 8 speed auto. ULEZ compliant. RFL is £360 per year.

11 months MOT with no advisories.

This is the luxury variant and is finished in Glacier Silver with Black Dakota leather and contrasting stitching. It has the following options:

Electric heated memory seats driver & passenger
Lumbar support driver & passenger
Ambient interior lighting
I-drive Professional Nav with 2024 maps
Enhanced instrument display (digital)
Active cruise control (radar cruise with stop/go)
Lane assist
Power tailgate
Bluetooth
Parking sensors
Reversing camera
Headlight cleaning
Adaptive LED headlights
LED foglights
Sports leather steering wheel
18” Multi spoke alloy wheels
Comfort Access
Roller sun shades in the rear doors
Plus all the other usual spec you would expect but is too long to list here

I imported the car from Japan (1 owner vehicle) as having had vehicles from there before I know the condition is superb. No salt on the roads and the Japanese really know how to care for their cars.

It has full history on the i-drive (all BMW main dealer), full book pack and stamped service history (obviously in Japanese). Inspection documentation verifies the low mileage. Next service due in 9000 miles according to i-drive.

Tyres have 6/7mm mm tread and are all matching Pirelli Cinturato P7 (OE tyre)

It is as close to a new car that I think you could get at this age.

Minus point is that the satin/chrome trim around the windows and roof rails has been stained at some point by I don´t know what. Looking on forums this seems to be a common problem. If you are being super critical it would have to be either replaced, repainted or vinyl wrapped. My local bodyshop quoted around 300 to repaint.

£12950 ONO. Viewing at SY13 4QS (Whitchurch, Shropshire). Please call Will on 07711 142937 to arrange a viewing etc.

Just been serviced including spark plugs - age rather than mileage.

Also has 2 keys which I omitted previously.

Lovely car, I own its little brother in saloon form. Same colour and spec but no way near as well equipped as your 5 series. Aging so well. GLWTS.

Good spec, very similar to mine. The comfort locks with memory seats, reversing camera and power tailgate are all great options. Lots of the 5 series don't come with these options, as they are so often sold on firrst sale as company cars, without any extras selected. I spent ages loking for one and had to travel to get it. The comfort locks with memory seats are particularly good if you have two different sized drivers. I'm 6 ft, my wife barely 5 ft 3 at a stretch, but the comfort option means you program everything to your preferred settings. and it sets it up for you, each to your own coded setting, when you unlock the car. Very nice. Best sized wheels, as well.

Good price for a very nice car. GLWS.

That looks like a very lovely car. I ran 2 times F11 520d back to back on my business and loved them. Just a lovely place to be (I went with white leather) and so good to drive.

Trouble is, they were shit magnets. Both cars were damaged while stationary by other road users. 520d number 1 was rear ended in a queue of standing traffic on the A31 over the New Forest. Some young fuckwit on his phone in a Yaris hit the 3-series BMW behind me which then hit me! 520d number two was hit twice, both times when parked and locked. The first was one evening parked on my drive. A collision at the crossroads outside my house had a small Renault with two lads in it was hit a Subaru Forester on the priority road, came through my hedge into the side of my car. The second time, car parked at work, delivery truck hammered through the car park, cut a corner and ripped the front off my car.

Which engine is in this model please?

CopperTop is correct. It is the high power (245bhp) version however which makes a big difference over the 520i

Jaysus no luck for you with the 520D. I have a 2013 and over the weekend it will turn over 300,000 kms. It still drives like a new car.
Smashing cars in my opinion

What sort of MPG does she return round town and on a run

Very much depends on driving style. Will easily do over 40mpg on a long run. 30mpg ish around town. The 528i is actually more fuel efficient than the 520i probably down to the extra torque.
