BMW alarm.

Just picked up my 2015 GSte with alarm fitted as an extra, I have set it as per the book and after 30 seconds the indicators flash but there are no bleeps, which the book says there should be, am I doing something wrong or is the a silent setting also.
I'm lost please help

I have had those diagnostic skills a long time.

I asked for cheesy chips in a pub in Pimlico a while back.
"sorry, we don't do them" was the reply.
"Do you do chips?" I asked.
"Oh yes" said the hapless youth behind the bar.
"Do you have any cheese, I enquired?"
"Yes, of course" he asserted, vacantly.
"Can you put the cheese on my chips, then?"
"Oh, OK."

No alarm doesn't go off, great start

Takes about 30 seconds for the motion sensors to kick in, Try setting it, leave it a minute, then try moving the bike around.

Mine is exactly the same, according to dealer it has to be done by them on their machine!

My handbook say that they only beep if they are programmed to, it would appear that BMW don't programme them to as standard.
