BMW assisstance

Hi, just a quickie -i'm looking for insurance quotes and just wanted to know if the BMW assistance that comes with a new bike covers europe (any exclusions?) otherwise i'll factor this in to my quote costs!!

No Breakdown recovery exclusions...........and includes Personal Medical cover for yourself and pillion,including emergency medical repatriation (up to £250,000 - IIRC) if you travel on bike to Europe

You could be right John, but I thought the Assistance was for EU countries only. I stand to be corrected!

Breakdown Assistance covers a lot further ie Scandinavia and Eastern Europe (non EU).
It's the BMW Bike Insurance that's mainly EU

Definitely does. I used it from France.

One phone call and they dealt with everything. Recovery vehicle in France, Ferry crossing, Taxi home from Dover, storage for the bike and then deivery to the local dealer.

Brilliant service. Just a shame the bike broke down !!
