BMW Assist?

Hello.

I've just bought a 1200GSA which was brand new in Oct 08 and has done 700miles. It's had it's first service with BMW. How do I get BMW Assist.
Is it open to me as someone who has bought privately a used bike.
Do I need to do anything or pay anything?

I've tried to find it on the forum by searching and looked at all the small print in BMW but got bored and confused?!?

Hi Bob,

The bike has 2 yrs BMW assist from new if its a UK bike NO MATTER WHO OWNS IT. If you need confirmation call 0800 777111 and give them your reg No, 24/7. I used to work for them mate.
