Anyone removed the BMW roundel between handlebars /top yoke area before ,an if so what did you use to prise it out with without knackering it ,or the paint on the yoke!!:thumb
All suggestions welcome:D:D:D

I used the misses hair dyer to remove the one on my k1600. Easier to control the temp that a hot air gun.

Mine fell off all by itself. Put back on with 3M double-sided adhesive tape. It's on for good now.

The actual badge is attached to a plastic disc with a weak impact adhesive, and can be easily levered off.

The disc is about 3-4mm thick and is held in place by a rubber O-ring.
This can also easily be removed with a good wiggle with a blunt instrument.

How do I know so much detail, I hear you ask.....
My badge fell off, and they cost £20 to replace.
I got one off ebay, thanks to a link placed on here.
I removed the disk from mine, and the badge from the replacement one.
I then used "proper" impact adhesive and heat to stick the badge back to the disk.

This one should stay put :)
