BMW Battery Charger Problems.

I use the BMW battery charger to try and maintain the battery level on my
GS1200 ,( Hardly suprising so far! )... Has anyone had problems with the charger. Mine goes through the traffic light process, and appears to start charging ( green light) and then about 5 mins later light goes red, as if battery is flat ??

I know battery isn't flat as good old BMW replaced it 2 weeks ago under warranty.... When the battery was replaced, I asked them to check the charger, which they say is OK, ( it was "pulsing" - I assume that means its OK rather than some other deviant process!! )

Your thoughts please folks.. Thanks..

Battery charging

The last thread on this subject went on for weeks!!!! How often do you need to charge your battery? Take the saddle off - 2O seconds, and clip your charger onto the battery terminals. that's it. (Assuming that you have a low output charger, otherwise disconnect - also very easy particularly if you have a nice torx screwdriver.)
