BMW battery Optimisor?

I've just acquired a 1200GS and incuded in the deal was the above charger. Unfortunately there's no instructions. Does anyone have a copy or can point me in the direction of where I can get some?

Tried the bikes' manual?

It used to be with the ignition on, plug charger in then switch off the ignition and hope it charges and then float chargers.
