Just got back from the Biker Meeting in Garmisch. It was quite nice. Crap weather on Friday, but Saturday and today were great.

Met Mike Werner and his mate Patrick gave me some great suggestions for rides. His advice made for a very enjoyable Saturday in the area!

The photos can be found HERE and HERE

Some interesting bikes, like the Scarver that wants to be a Boxer Cup Replica. Or the GS with the S tail piece.

T. - nice pics. That all black beast on the 'Deggendorf' stand looks superb!
I've "borrowed" the Boxer Cup Scarver pic to put on the 650 forum.

((didn't you get a visit from the Chunnel peeps for taking 'flash' photo's???:( )

cheers, Sid.

Hello T

I'm glad you all made it back in one piece. Following my enforced Lyon visit, the K12LT & I got back last Friday evening - we took an extended tour of the vineyards on the way home. If its any consolation it p*ssed down more or less every day wherever we went - if nothing else I can now vouch that Rukka jackets are waterproof

Excellent pics - I've also copied a few so that SWMBO can see what all the fuss was about.

Good trip, good people. I hope to see everyone again next year.

Chris,

Gald you had a good time and Lyon worked out. We did Garmisch to Blighty in one LONG day. Was really nice weather until we got to Northern France. Then it was just RAIN RAIN RAIN.

They also let me back in the country and thanks for the advice. It stopped me from worrrying over the weekend!

Might see you down at the shop sometime.

five years ago and one of my first trip abroad on the bike .. still remember doing Garmisch to Slough in one go .. what a silly idea that was :D
