For those who missed Garmisch, or would like to do it all again can I draw your attention to the event being held in Croatia. Dates are 28th to the 30th September in Rovinj on the Istrian penninsular. Here is a link to the website www.bmw-bikerdays.com The site uses Google translate for the English so provides entertainment value for that alone-mostly you can work out what they are trying to say.
We are meeting the organiser soon with a view to holding a pre event party here for people travelling down there from northern Europe. We plan then to ride down to Rovinj on the Friday morning, it's around 5.5 hours via a scenic route so we arrive in plenty of time- late afternoon-time to freshen up before a beer or six.
We already have people booked in for this but still have places available. It's a great time of year to ride around here. Usually at least as warm as a British summer (If any of you can remember such a thing) and almost no traffic. As usual if you stay two nights or more with us you get a free pass for the Grossglockner,Nockalmstrasse, etc.
