Anyone got any experience of the new BMW Bluetooth helmet comms system ? Not the WCS-1 that I understand was withdrawn cos it was s***e, but the new one.

Quite fancy the idea of wireless phone/gps/music, currently got an autocom (on one bike) but that leaves me without anything on other bike, thought bluetooth might be the way forward!

Also, anyone got any experience of music quality over the bluetooth stereo (A2DP think its called)? Can't imagine it'd be as good as a wired connection, but then maybe I'm just faithless when it comes to new fangled technology!

Any views / opinions appreciated!

i tried it out with the mrs. It was brilliant. I have to say much better than a scala or midland unit. Very impressed.... only problem is the lack of variety of helmets it would fit too :(

If they did an enduro lid with it to be fitted in i would have it!

oh jdt, you could try the scala Q2. Thats a good one, better than the rider / teamset. It wont play music via bluetooth but has an inbuilt fm reciever so you can use one of those cheap fm transmitters on your ipod etc.

Cheers..... I'm looking at either getting it fitted to my current system 5, or maybe the system 6 that is coming out soon ..will obviously have to try it out first though !

Generally ride solo, so main use will be for phone, gps and music, which is why I'm interested in the quality of A2DP (bluetooth stereo)... would hate to fork out on it only to find stereo quality was pants!
