BMW Club Scottish & Yorkshire Sections Rob Roy Hotel Aberfoyle Weekend

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes here as I wouldn't want to fall foul. I've just joined up to the BMW Club UK, firstly for the service discount up to March 2015, but also to dip my toe into the world of BMW rider meetings.

I noticed on the site that they are holding a weekend over four days 1st - 4th May 2015 which seems excellent value so I was thinking, as it's within spitting distance for me, that I might go for it and take (invite) SWIMBO along too

I have a niggling dilema though ........... As I will have just turned 50 by that time, I am concerned that I may not fit the "typical member profile" for such an event.

Anyone who has some experience of this or indeed any other similar event run by the bmw club have any useful (or otherwise ) advice on the matter.

And are any tossers signing/signed up for said event??

Anyone want to give me a cuddle or pistake then batter on........... I have thick deep rhino skin

Dont worry about what or who other members are, take your better half and enjoy,
you will be surprised as the majority of BMW owners are between the ages of 40 & 60
just look at the picture threads.

Didn't go myself but understand previous weekends run by them at this spot have been a great success.
