Got mine end of September. Most were coming still with the old indicators, the LEDs were just being introduced. Luckily for me entered the showroom at the right time prior to ordering, they were pointed out to me on another bike so I ordered mine on the condition it had the new LED indicators. I really don't think there is much BMW will do as it sounds like you certainly did not request them. Your brother was just lucky and got the latest bike. You can convert at a cost. They look great but hey, the bike's still ggggggreat.............
